I couldn’t not post this video, i get so stoked when i see videos like this. Yeah i know that the filming and quality is rather poor, the editing leaves a lot to be desired but each one of these kids killed it. They’re far from professional but at the young age they are even getting an edit put together is tough enough (seeing as i struggle like mad dealing with riders well out there teens). I’m posting this because i know how stoked they will be to see it get here, it takes me back and i’m buzzing to be able to include the younger generation in what we do here at CrucialBMX.
Shout out to Cameron for putting it together and all the younger riders at my local park for shredding. Keep it up boys!

Adam Dear is one of the guys i ride and chill with almost daily, he has grown up riding with myself for as far back as i can remember. He is an absolute shredder and often earns himself the title of the stunt man of the group. Adam is 100% flat out all the time, every time. No holding back here, always the first to try that massive gap (and actually has a gap named after him at the local skatepark) or hit those big lines at the trails. His riding is incredibly impressive and often leaves me with my jaw on the floor every time we ride. I’m here today to show you the fresh Verde Yeagle he’s just built up:
Not a massive story here to be honest, Adam came into a little bit of money and decided his bike needed some tender love and care after getting abused during the winter months. Adam often rides all sorts of terrain, like myself and the group we try to keep it all mixed up with a bit of Trails, Street and Skateparks. Adams is always switching his brake up depending on what we are riding, brake for trails but brakeless for street. He has a chrome rim built up because its way easier to throw on a brake and it work decent without having to spend to much time dialling it in! Adams bike is definitely more about how well it works rather than the current BMX fashions and whats cool or not. This boy don’t give a shit. Go big or go home.
Adam Dear decided on the Raw colour way of the Yeagle as CrucialBMX Mechanic Danny Taylor has the Purple Haze. His bike has a whole host of other great parts like the brand new Fit forks, Eclat Stem, Profile hubs, T’wombolt cranks and so on…..
You can catch Adam rolling around with the CrucialBMX boys most nights, don’t be afraid to say hello next time.

Don’t worry, your not the only one to have never heard of Angrrr Management before? Anyway, going by the video i would guess it’s probably a little local clothing company.
I probably wouldn’t of normally posted this as the editing and filming is rather poor but seeing as good friend of the shop Rick Seery asked so nicely i will. It features him and a couple of others doing there thing around the southwest.

As you should already know, as soon as the magazines get published and starts to arrive at peoples doors we release the adverts online. Here is the advert we submitted into Ride BMX for issue 151. Again we have not gone with the stock riding photo and boring shop information like most other advertisers. Adi gilbert has drawn himself holding a board with the shop photographs in. This is one of a series of similar adverts, you will all soon see…
You may notice that we were also the first company to sport the ROS Logo in the bottom corner to let people know, we did this two adverts ago and i see that a few other companies are starting to catch on finally.
We are also going to be running different adverts in all print magazines, giving them all a different feel depending on the magazine.

THANK YOU! To everyone that was involved yesterday in the CrucialBMX Easter Back-Yard Fun Day event. It was a absolute BLAST, myself and the whole community has a great day. Smiles all round.
We have had loads of good feedback, some great praise and will be holding another event very soon! I’m already planning on how we can make it even better….
I would like to thank again: Everyone who came along, the shop staff, my family for doing the BBQ, the guys who helped erect and take down our ramp, the sun for shining, DJ’s for the heavy beats all day, the meat in the burgers for being tasty, the CrucialBMX Team, BL Industries, CrucialScooters Team, Weed for getting me high, The door staff for making sure we didn’t get ransacked, the 400 plus people for turning up, bob haro for being the creator, Ray-bans, Jade for hanging out all weekend, Monster energy for getting me through the day, Pop-up gazeboes and finally cider for microphone confidence….

Super chilled summer edit from the end of 2010, filmed and edited by Will Olpin. Featuring Jordan “Desmond” Mack, Steve Younger, Zac o’conner, Lee Enever, Luke Morgan, Scott Summerhayes, Joe Hellin and Jewsep. Definitely one to watch even if it is all filmed in the same skatepark as the last video i put up….

Massive thanks to the guys from Ride UK Magazine for coming down and doing this Catch Up video with us, much appreciated. Really happy with how it came out, you have portrayed the shop amazingly.

Got forwarded this earlier and thought it was pretty cool, a solid little edit from Callum Hyde featuring Kane Orchard. It is predominantly filmed at Henbury skatepark, not to far from the store. Kane has obviously put in some work at his local, getting bars dailled!

I spend the weekend just gone up rolling with my NorthWest crew in Manchester, the reason behind this other than being down in Bristol working the shop is that i was delivering this awesome CrucialBMX Custom Sunday 3rd Wave Complete Bike to its new owner and good friend of mine Declan Tate.
The bike features the street-ready Sunday 3rd Wave frame, mixed in with a whole host of Animal/Skavenger parts. Built to be a stealth street shredder, it sure doesn’t disappoint. This bike may resemble a tank but the weight sure does say otherwise, tipping the scales at just under 23lb. A 20.5″ Top-Tube keeps things short and sweet, loads of “pop” perfect for his favourite 180 to half-cab tricks!
Declan was originally split between the Sunday and Skavenger frames, however due to the massive delay on the Skavenger getting into the UK he had to take up the Sunday. He is over the moon and its definitely a step up from the bike that was stolen from him before!
Look after is bud and i will see you soon on your road-trip down south.

It’s that time again, the Easter holidays are upon us and the sun is out in full force to give us a glimpse of what’s to come over the summer months. We decided to take advantage of that here at CrucialBMX and hold an event!
This coming Sunday, the 17th of April, will see another Fun-Day at the store like we did last year. We have a FREE Fun Filled day planned; it will cost nothing at all. All we ask is that you get down to CrucialBMX Shop for around 12am onwards.
So then, what have we got going on? Well for a start we have a FREE BBQ for everyone attending (while the food lasts obviously), there will be plenty of burgers/sausages for everyone and even a vegetarian option for those who swing that way.
Public Mini Ramp, Street Rail and Fun boxes going up in the car park! This is open to everyone to ride, for all abilities and ages. Customers ride the ramps at there own risk; CrucialBMX will not be liable for any injuries! We recommend wearing a helmet at all times.
Local DJ’s playing dirty music all day. We have 2-3 young local DJ’s coming to spin some plates. It’s going to get loose!
We will be holding a small jam style competition on the Mini Ramp, nothing to crazy as our ramp is far from mega but the top 3 riders will get free stuff! It will be super chilled, jam style so that no one feels pressured at all. We want to try and get everyone involved.
The CrucialBMX Team boys will be doing half-hour demonstrations throughout the day, showing off their stuff!
MASSIVE SALE on complete bikes and parts, up to 25% off!
This is also the first Sunday of 2011 we will be open Sunday.
Bring your own beer!
Any questions please don’t hesitate to contact me on info@crucialbmxshop.com
PS: I will be putting up the time-table for the day later this week.

I quickly just peeped this on the internet, a photo from Motions new indoor street section. I’m not 100% sure if its finished or even open but you might want to check it out. Looks more suitable for scooters rather than BMX, darn it looks tight.
EDIT: Its open from today and the rest of the holidays, Mid-day onwards.

Last week we had this awesome United Recruit RN4 show up at our door, now you might be asking…RN4? Isn’t RN3 the top of the Recruit line?
Well it is in the currently range of 2011 bikes, however this is a sneaky preview (one of less than 5 or so) of the 2012 United line up. 4Down sent us this so we could get a real hands on feel of what to expect when they drop at the end of the summer. As you would imagine, being United and top of the Recruit line it’s got fully sealed parts all round, Full Cromo Bars/Frame/Forks and weights next to nothing. It came in this awesome flat Black and bright Yellow, this colour will be available on the official release too.
Now i was suppose to blog this last week when it arrived, but life got in the way as usual and i’ve ended up having to leave it till now. This was fine obviously when we still had the bike, but during the hustle and bustle of the weekend i’m afraid its now long gone to its new proud owner. It retailed for £420, which should be the same when it gets properly released.
However, still check out this image and get ready to start seeing advertisements and god knows what else for the 2012 bikes soon!

Anyone around Manchester/Liverpool fancy riding some street get in contact, i’m up for the weekend delivering a bike and catching up with a friend. The sun is shining, its nice to be out riding rather than down in Bristol working the shop.
