I was supposed to drop this last week, so I’m sorry to keep you all hanging but other work commitments got in the way. As you may have heard here at CrucialBMX we have had a little change around with our Team. We have gained 3 new riders and I’m going to drop each one individually so I will start by kicking it off with the local lad:
Alex Boyd William
Boyd is a local Southwest rider; I was lucky enough to hang out with him properly on a trip up to the BSD jam at Unit 23 a few months ago. I had always known that he was an absolute shredder but due to him predominantly riding trails and myself always riding street our paths have never really crossed and we had only met briefly before. As soon as we hung out I knew that Boyd had the right sort of laid-back chilled personality that I like to embrace here at CrucialBMX, such a positive dude always happy to ride whatever’s put in front of him. I knew he would be stoked on the hook-up and we could really do with a flowing park/trails rider on the Team so it all came together perfectly.
Make sure you pick up the next issue of Ride BMX Magazine to see Boyds crazy CrucialBMX advert, I won’t spoil it now…all I will say is that it’s massive!
Boyd has also been filming for a CrucialBMX Web-edit but unfortunately twisted his ankle last week and hasn’t been able to ride since. The edit was supposed to drop before he left for a 3-week trip around America however I now think it’s going to have to be once he returns.
I am over the moon to have such a rad guy on the team, maybe he can teach me some trails skills soon? Have a great trip Boyd and we can commence filming and arranging the CrucialBMX trip once you return.
