Shipping Rates

We offer several different shipping options to suit all customers, please see below for a full breakdown before ordering. We ship Monday-Friday, all orders placed with DPD Next Working Day before 2pm will be shipped the same day, other services may be subject to longer despatch times. Any orders placed after the 2pm cut off will be shipped the following day.  Delivery options are subject to availability and some larger items may be unavailable for standard shipping or carry additional delivery fees.  You can see a full shipping quote during the checkout process.  Shipping fees include handling and packing fees as well as postage costs. Handling fees are fixed, whereas transport fees vary according to the overall price of the order. We advise you to group your items into one order. We cannot group two distinct orders placed separately, and shipping fees will apply to each of them. Your package will be dispatched at your own risk, but special care is taken to protect fragile objects. Boxes are amply sized, and your items will be well protected against damage in transit. 

 

Orders Under £100

Parcelforce Express Tracked - £5.99: Orders placed using this shipping service will be despatched via Parcelforce 24 hour express postage.  We aim to ship orders placed before 2pm Monday-Friday the same day, but this service can take 1-2 working days to despatch, especially during busy periods.  For guaranteed next day please use a DPD service.   

DPD Next Working Day - £8.99: The item/s will ship with DPD on a next working day delivery.  You will receive full tracking via email and SMS message, including a 1-hour time slot, and alternative delivery options.* ALL DPD services placed before 2pm Monday-Friday will be shipped the same day. 

 

Orders over £100

Free Standard Delivery on orders over £100 - FREE: Orders placed using this shipping service will typically be despatched via Parcelforce 24 hour express postage.  We aim to ship orders placed before 2pm the same day, but this service can take 1-2 working days to despatch, especially during busy periods.  For guaranteed next day please use an upgrade service. Excludes large items.   

Discounted Parcelforce Express Tracked On all orders over £100 - £2.99:  We offer a discounted Parcelforce service on all orders over £100!  Orders placed using this shipping service will be despatched via Parcelforce 24 hour express postage.  ALL orders placed before 2pm Monday-Friday using this service will be shipped the same day.  

Discounted DPD Next Working Day On all orders over £100 - £5.99: We offer a discounted next day service on all orders over £100!  The item/s will ship with DPD on a DPD next working day delivery.  You will receive full tracking via email and SMS message, including a 1-hour time slot, and alternative delivery options. ALL DPD services placed before 2pm Monday-Friday will be shipped the same day.

 

All Orders

DPD Saturday Delivery - £20: The item/s will ship with DPD on a guaranteed Saturday delivery.  You will receive full tracking via email and SMS message, including a 1 hour time slot, and alternative delivery options.  All Saturday delivery orders will be despatched on the next Friday after the order is placed.  Orders must be placed by 2pm Friday for Saturday delivery.

Large Item Delivery - £25:  Some larger items, for example, bikes over the 20 inch size are liable to an additional large item shipping fee.  These will be shipped on a DPD freight delivery and should arrive in 1-2 working days.  

International Shipping Rates

Please see below for a full list of our international shipping rates. All of these can be processed through our website.  We ship to all of Europe through our website, but if you don’t see your country here, don't worry, just drop us an email or select "Provide me a shipping quote" at the checkout and we can sort out shipping manually!

All NON-UK customers are exempt from the 20% UK VAT.  Our website displays prices with UK VAT, but this will be deducted when you select your country at the checkout.  You can check your order total at the basket screen by clicking the basket then looking under the “summary” section for “Order Total Excl. VAT”. 

Please note any international customers may be liable to Local duty and Tax on delivery.  Please contact your local customs office to confirm these rates.

Please check your local tax rates! Any orders cancelled at customs and returned to us will be subject to shipping fees for the outbound and return journey and a restocking fee.

If we do not ship to your country for a flat rate our website will offer you the option to request a shipping quote, you can do this at the checkout screen by selecting "Provide me a shipping quote". We will then contact you within 3 working days with a quote to ship to your requested address.

*Please Note:

Northern Ireland, Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Scilly Isles, Scottish Islands and Scottish Highlands (AB36-38, AB55-56, FK17-21, IV1-39, IV52-54, IV63, KW1-14, PA21-40, PH19-26, PH30-41, PH49-50) are not available for DPD next day.  If you place your order using DPD next day from these locations we will ship using the fastest available Royal Mail Service.  

Although 99% of DPD next-day deliveries arrive on time, sometimes elements out of their can control can cause delays to deliveries.  DPD allow for a 48h grace period before the parcel is classed as late and a refund can be issued.

Extended Christmas Returns Policy

We understand buying presents doesn’t always go as planned, so we run an extended returns period into January to accommodate for any exchanges that may be required.  Any products purchased in December are eligible for return up to January 12th.  The item must arrive back with us on or before this date and comply with our standard returns policy below.  

Returns

Please send all returns to the address stated below, please enclose a note with a copy of your order number, name, address, and refund/exchange request.  We will process your return as soon as possible – normally within 2-3 working days.  All returned items must be in a new, unused and unfitted condition, with all tags and packaging included. All returns are checked by Crucial BMX before a refund is issued. We will not accept returned goods that are not in a resalable condition. 

All spoke lengths calculated by Crucial BMX to a customer provided ERD and/or Hub Dimensions are purchased at the customers risk. Returns are NOT accepted on Special order items, Titanium spokes, Custom Cut spokes and any spokes that have been fitted to a wheel.

Any goods returned which do not comply with the returns policy will be held and will not be accepted for refund until the above conditions are met. If held goods are requested to be returned to the customer they will be subject to postage costs. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Credit and debit cards are refunded electronically to your Credit/Debit card account. Paypal is refunded to you Paypal account.  These terms only apply to mail order transactions, in store policy may vary.

Refunds

If you are unhappy with your products in any way and wish to obtain a refund you must return them within 14 days of receipt at the cost to the customer. The returned products must be unused and in all original packaging. Items returned for refund outside of the 14-day window will be subject to a 10% restocking fee.  Refunds are made at our discretion and can therefore be refused if we feel the reason for the returned item is not satisfactory.  All refunds will be issued minus any shipping fees and transaction costs incurred by Crucial BMX, this includes shipping costs and transaction fees (i.e. PayPal fees.) Refunds are made to your credit card or paypal account the same day but can take up to three days to reach your account.

 

Exchanges

If you wish to exchange your items you may do so within 30 days of receipt. The customer must pay the postage costs to return the item and we will reciprocate by sending the exchanged item to you free of charge on receipt of the goods. The returned products must be unused and in all original packaging.

 

Incorrect Items

We aim to despatch all our orders quickly and correctly, but sometimes mistakes do happen.  If you believe you have received an incorrect item please contact us immediately, we must be notified within 3 working days.  We will then ask you to return the item to us, we will refund you the return shipping costs up to the value of £10 and despatch the correct item as soon ad we receive your return.  Please remember to keep a copy of your shipping receipt, as you will need to email us this to claim your postage back.

Cash in-store.

Out of Stock Items:

If the item you have chosen is unavailable you will be contacted via the e-mail address on your order and/or telephone number to offer an alternative. Please always enter a daytime contact number or mobile number so we can call you if we need to.

 

Pricing Policy:

All products on CrucialBmxShop.com/CrucialBmx.com are priced in GB Pounds sterling and include UK VAT at the prevailing rate.

Ordering

When ordering from the website you agree to the listed terms and conditions.

Orders may be placed through the website or via telephone (0117 3079096). Please do not e-mail your card details to Crucialbmxshop.com.

If you prefer to order over the phone give us a call on 0117 3079096.We will be happy to take your order, describe any goods (sizing, colours etc) and try to help you get the right item first time.

The utmost care and consideration is taken to ensure that your card details are always secure. This is achieved by encrypting your card number at the time when you place your order using the best SSL encryption. It is imperative that you type in the cardholders name as it is shown on the card, and address exactly as it appears on the statement.

NON-UK Orders

Please allow 7 to 10 working days for custom wheel builds. The timescale depends upon the number of wheels we currently have ongoing; wheel builds are arranged on a 'first come, first served' queue basis. We will contact you accordingly, and keep you in the loop throughout the whole process...

During high-load times, usually Christmas and the start of the race season, wheel-build wait times can increase to 3 to 4 weeks. Please bear this in mind.
