So last night after shutting up the shop we were asked along to Hanham youth centre in Bristol to give some lads a crash course in BMX 'MOT's' shall we call it. The idea was to teach them the basic understanding of how things like a Gyro, BB and such work and how to correct simple problems/maintenance using their own bikes. It went extremely well and i hope the lads of Hanham are now riding around on some dialled bikes! Afterwards in true CrucialBMX fashion we had a mini-jam, which consisted of one 3 ft high (steep as fuckkk) kicker ramp in the youth centre car-park. About 10 lads pedalled their asses off around a corner and up this sketchy kicker sending themselves anywhere from 6ft to 22FT. I've actually never seen anything like someone traveling 22FT off such a messed up ramp, Jamie Jonas literally killed it and almost himself. How on earth he landed perfectly is beyond me, it would have been literally like taking a 12-14 ft drop to solid flat...I'm pretty sure i speak for everyone when i say i literally cringed at the view of watching jamie hit his peak hight. We did say to Jamie that we would film it and post the video on here, however dumb-ass me had the iPhone on picture taking rather than video, my bad dude. I'm sure however in the next day or two we should see a clip from on of the many young girl fans Jamie has (EDIT: FOUND THE VIDEO, CHECK IT OUT BELOW!) Anyway, we have this cool as hell picture of jamie receiving his goods for winning and a video of poor old Gabe Warren giving it his best (i joke).
