I’d first like to start by saying a massive thanks to all the dope people that turned up Monday evening to our CULT DVD premiere! We were blown away by the turn out, just goes to show how amazing and strong our scene here in the southwest is. You definitely make all the hard work worth it. I worked out that we had just over 100 odd people here. How incredible is that for a DVD premiere?
The turnout was definitely heart-warming for the Cult dudes, being that we were the first UK public premiere. I would like to say a massive thanks to them for travelling all the way over from the US and AK for joining them. Shout out to Monster Energy for hooking us up with loads of drinks and sending the dopest Dan Lacey along. Thanks to Jon T and Seventies for making it all happen and giving us an opportunity like this.
I hope everyone had a sick time and I can’t wait till our paths cross again! Keep it coming CULT CREW…
So how did the night go? Well it was spectacular! We packed people in shoulder to shoulder, you could definitely feel the vibe as people mingled and speculated about what they were about to see. As the DVD started and as Ryan Navazio introduced it you could almost hear a pin drop. Everyone was focus on the screen and anticipated the first section. AK was up first and got loads of cheering when the big clips got dropped. AK had a dope two-song section.
The DVD went on with loads of Cheering and “oo’s and Ahhh’s” throughout. Dak’s section was the last and boy, its something else. I won’t spoil anything for people that haven’t seen it yet but all I can say is that it’s a 3-song monster and some of the clips are just unbelievable. Definitely best section for a lot of people, however Chase D takes my personal favorite. Dak’s section had it own round of applause, I thought he was going to get lifted up and crowd surf everyone. Again after all the B-roll the room was alit. Another round of applause, appreciation, “hell yeahs” and a whole load of other congratulations were directed at the CULT crew.
People hung around after and the gang gave out a whole load of Free CULT products, signed copies of the DVD and posed for photographs.
We were amazing at the amount of DVD’s we sold; it’s definitely been our best selling DVD end of. If you don’t have a copy then shame on you..
RIDE UK and SouthWest BMX have also covered this event with a ton more pictures and words, so if you still haven’t got your fix yet please click their names and follow the links!
