We have come to the end of another Racing Season and what a brilliant time it was. Our Crucial BMX Race Team were in the Elite Race category and finished the season in a fantastic 2nd place podium! We are thrilled and would like to thank every team rider and their families for helping achieve this fantastic result.
We truly have the best team, everyone has a great attitude to racing and to their fellow team riders supporting them through the good and the bad times. A big shout out to a couple of injured riders, Ben Martinez who is slowly recovering from a injury at the Manchester outdoor round but still took home the 1st place Tropy in Masters category and also to Tom Palmer who was smashing it at the first round at Manchester Indoor but came off in the final which then put him out of action for the rest of the season, positive healing vibes to them both.
A number of our riders did the double header, incredibly winning both the National Series and British Champs, Matthew Bourne - Male 25-29, Alex Talbott - Male 12 yrs and Taylor Hunt - Male 10 yrs. A number of team riders represented their country in the World Champs including Adam Brazil who had a great year bringing home a World No. 4 from Rockhill and finishing the National series 5th in the Superclass and 6th at the Brits. Jack Bowditch rode really strong all season finishing National and British number 5 in Male 11 yrs. Ollie Copping - Male 8 and his sister Libby both had a great year with Ollie finishing 4th in the National Series. Callum Knight - Male 16 had a great first season with Crucial finishing 9th in the National Series and 5th in the Brits. His Dad Brett also did well finishing a respectable 12th in Vets. Michael Gough 45-49 Cruiser finished 8th in National Series and doubling up at The Brits. Alfie Lovell - Male 15 battled hard again this year gaining 17th in the National Series. Aaron Holloway had his best ever results this year in a tough category at Nationals getting into A finals and finishing 17th overall. Jenson Hunt - Male 7 is definitely following in brother Taylor’s footsteps, he had an awesome season at nationals and brought home podium 2nd place at The Brits.
A huge thanks and well done to you all, you did us proud. We also want to thank our sponsors this year YESS, Speedco, Faith and ODI.
